The detailed syllabus of object oriented web development lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>To study the concepts of Object-Oriented PHP.<\/li>\n<li>To provide exposure to develop web applications using MVC Framework.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course, students will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Implement Basic OOP concepts in PHP<\/li>\n<li>Implement Inheritance in PHP<\/li>\n<li>Implement advanced OOP functionality, Error handling and MVC<\/li>\n<li>Develop applications using CodeIgniter.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Develop PHP program to implement class and object<\/li>\n<li>Develop PHP program to implement class, object, constructor and destructor.<\/li>\n<li>Develop PHP program to implement access control<\/li>\n<li>Develop PHP program to implement accessor functions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Develop PHP program to implement Inheritance.<\/li>\n<li>Develop PHP program to demonstrate the use of final method.<\/li>\n<li>Develop PHP program to implement Interfaces.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Develop PHP program to demonstrate the use of per-class constant.<\/li>\n<li>Develop PHP program to implement static methods<\/li>\n<li>Develop PHP program to implement Exception Handling.<\/li>\n<li>Develop PHP program to Display a message using PHP MVC.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Demonstrate how to install CodeIgniter 3.x into LAMP Server and set initial configurations<\/li>\n<li>Create a login form view and load the view into a controller<\/li>\n<li>Create a registration form and validate it using form validation library and saves the data in to database using active record method<\/li>\n<li>Use session library to add data into CodeIgniter session and display them in another view<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Open Ended Projects<\/h4>\n<p>(Not for End Semester Examination but compulsory to be included in Continuous Internal Evaluation. Students can do open ended experiments as a group of 2-3. There is no duplication in experiments between groups.
