The detailed syllabus of python programming lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide fundamental concepts of open source Python programming language.<\/li>\n<li>To introduce emerging areas of Python Programming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Develop Python programs using standard I\/O functions and basic operators.<\/li>\n<li>Develop Python programs using control flow and looping statements<\/li>\n<li>Construct Python programs using user defined functions<\/li>\n<li>Develop Python programs using file I\/O handling functions<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Install Python environment in Windows Linux and Android, use of IDLE and Python path setting<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate input and output functions<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate standard data types in Python<\/li>\n<li>Develop simple programs using basic operators.(Arithmetic operators, Comparison operators, Assignment operators, Logical operators, Bitwise operators, Membership operators)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Build programs using flow control or decision making statements &#8211; IF statement, IF &#8230; ELIF.. .ELSE and nested IF statements.<\/li>\n<p>Suggested Experiments<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check whether the given two numbers are equal<\/li>\n<li>Check whether the given number is odd or even<\/li>\n<li>Find largest among the given three numbers<\/li>\n<li>Character name of the day<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Build programs using loop statements &#8211; for, while and nested loop.<\/li>\n<p>Suggested Experiments <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Display the first n natural numbers<\/li>\n<li>Read 10 numbers from keyboard and find their sum and average<\/li>\n<li>Display the cube of the numbers upto the given integer<\/li>\n<li>Display the multiplication table of a given integer.<\/li>\n<li>Sum of the elements in a matrix.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Develop simple programs to demonstrate how to define and call user defined functions<\/li>\n<li>Develop programs using user defined functions with\/withoutarguments(Keyword arguments &amp; Parameter with Default Value) and with\/without return value<\/li>\n<p>Suggested Experiments<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Python function to check whether the given number is even or odd<\/li>\n<li>Find the sum and average of two integer numbers using user defined functions (default arguments)<\/li>\n<li>Print multiplication table of the given number using user defined function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Implement File I\/O handling functions &#8211; open(), close(), read(), write(), tell() and seek()<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Suggested Open Ended Projects<\/h4>\n<p>(Not for End Semester Examination but compulsory to be included in Continuous Internal Evaluation. Students can do open ended experiments as a group of 2-3. There is no duplication in experiments between groups.
