The detailed syllabus of web technology lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide hands-on experience for the students with the basic skills on tools, languages and technologies related to website development using HTML, CSS &amp; JavaScript.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the development and implementation of simple dynamic websites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course, the student will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Develop simple web pages using HTML<\/li>\n<li>Develop web pages using CSS<\/li>\n<li>Construct dynamic documents with JavaScript<\/li>\n<li>Design and develop a simple website using HTML, CSS and JavaScript<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Illustrate Web Browsers, Search Engines and Protocols<\/li>\n<li>Develop simple HTML pages using Basic HTML Markup<\/li>\n<li>Make use of HTML lists, hyperlinks and images, Data Table, frames in Web pages<\/li>\n<li>Develop web pages with Forms and its controls<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Explain CSS selectors, Inline, Embedded and External Style Sheets<\/li>\n<li>Develop web pages using of Inline, Embedded and External Style Sheets<\/li>\n<li>Apply CSS properties &#8211; font, color, background, list, link, text, border in web pages<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Build functions with JavaScript and make us of built-in function in JavaScript<\/li>\n<li>Model Event Handling using JavaScript<\/li>\n<li>Plan form validation using JavaScript<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Open Ended Experiments- Design and develop a simple website using HTML, CSS and JavaScript<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Sample Open Ended Experiments<\/h4>\n<p>(Not for End Semester Examination but compulsory to be included in Continuous Internal Evaluation. Students can do open ended experiments as a group of 2-3. There is no duplication in experiments between groups.
