The detailed syllabus of fundamentals of embedded system design lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement simple programs using microprocessor.<\/li>\n<li>Implement interfacing with Arudino<\/li>\n<li>Implement interface with UART<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course, the student will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To understand the components of 8051<\/li>\n<li>To understand the interfacing of 8051<\/li>\n<li>To practice the interfacing of Arudino<\/li>\n<li>To demonstrate the interfacing of UART<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Familiarisation of 8051<\/li>\n<li>Addition of 8 bit numbers using 8051<\/li>\n<li>Subtraction of 8 bit numbers using 8051<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Using interfacing blink GREEN LED and RED LED<\/li>\n<li>Using interfacing provide delay and Blink GREEN LED and RED LED<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Using Arudino intetrfacing Blink LED&#8217;s<\/li>\n<li>Interfacing with 4 X 4 keyboard<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Display a message using UART interface<\/li>\n<li>Develop a program to interface 7 segment Display with 8051<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><i>Note:<\/i><br \/>\n Experiments shall be conducted such that all COs are attained.<br \/>\nMinimum of 6 experiments (excluding open ended experiments\/microprojects) shall be performed.<br \/>\nCompulsory for CIA<br \/>\nThe CIA shall be arranged in third semester by the faculty in charge.
