The detailed syllabus of microcontrollers lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement simple programs using microcontroller.<\/li>\n<li>Implement interrupt handling programs<\/li>\n<li>Perform interfacing experiments with 8051.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course, the student will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To write simple programming experiments with 8051<\/li>\n<li>To prepare branching and control instructions with 8051<\/li>\n<li>To practice interrupt handling programs<\/li>\n<li>To demonstrate interfacing 8051 with peripherals<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Implement assembly language programs based on Data transfer instructions<\/li>\n<li>Implement assembly language programs for Arithmetic instructions (8\/16 bit addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)<\/li>\n<li>Implement assembly language programs for logical instructions (AND, OR etc)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Implement assembly language programs for Branch instructions<\/li>\n<li>Implement assembly language programs for looping concepts<\/li>\n<li>Implement assembly language programs for counting concepts<\/li>\n<li>Implement assembly language programs to introduce delay using Timer \/ Counter<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Develop Assembly Language Programs for Interrupts<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Implement programs for serial communication<\/li>\n<li>Develop a program to interface LED with 8051<\/li>\n<li>Develop a program to interface 7 segment Display with 8051<\/li>\n<li>Develop a program to Interface 8 bit DAC with 8051<\/li>\n<li>Develop a program to interface a DC Motor with 8051<\/li>\n<li>Develop a program to interface a Stepper Motor with 8051<\/li>\n<li>Develop a program to interface a Stepper Motor with 8051<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><i>Note:<\/i><br \/>\n Experiments shall be conducted such that all COs are attained.<br \/>\nMinimum of 6 experiments (excluding open ended experiments\/microprojects) shallbe performed.<br \/>\nCompulsory for CIA<br \/>\nThe CIA shall be arranged in third semester by the faculty in charge.The ESE need to be conducted at the end of the third semester.\n<\/p>\n<p><h4>Text Books:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Raj Kamal, Microcontrollers: Architecture, Programming, Interfacing and System Design, Pearson Education, 2011.<\/li>\n<li>Kenneth J.
