The detailed syllabus of logic design lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>To understand digital logic and create various systems by using these logic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course, the student will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Implement basic logic gates<\/li>\n<li>Design and Implement CombinationalCircuits<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate synchronous sequentiallogic<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Verify the Logic behavior of various IC gates: 7408, 7432, 7404, 7400, 7402,7486)<\/li>\n<li>Implement basic gates using Universal Gates (NAND &amp;NOR)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Implement the following Combinational Circuits (Design, construct, and test combinational logic circuit that generates parity bit from four message bits)<\/li>\n<li>Design a combinational circuit that converts a Gray code to binary, Decoder for a binary digit to BCD, and a seven segment indicator<\/li>\n<li>Design, construct, and test a half-adder &amp; a fulladder Implement using Basic gates and Universal gates<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Construct, Test, and investigate the operation of SR Flip-Flop, JK Flip-Flop , D Flip-Flop, T FlipFlop, Master-Slave JK Flip-Flop.<\/li>\n<li>Sequential Circuits (Design, construct, and test Synchronous Up-Down counter with Enable)<\/li>\n<li>Construct and test Ripple Counter, Synchronous counter<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><i>Note:<\/i><br \/>\n Experiments shall be conducted such that all COs are attained.<br \/>\nMinimum of 6 experiments (excluding open ended experiments\/micro projects) shall be performed.<br \/>\nCompulsory for CIA<br \/>\nThe CIA shall be arranged in third semester by the faculty in charge.TheESE need to be conducted at theendof thethird semester.\n<\/p>\n<p><h4>Text Books:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Thomas L Floyd, Digital Fundamentals, 10\/e, Pearson Education, 2009<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Reference Books:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>M.
