The detailed syllabus of python programming lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Students should be able to use Python as a tool for solving computational problems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course, students will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Develop simple programs using Python<\/li>\n<li>Illustrate complex data types and functions in Python<\/li>\n<li>Illustrate exception handling &amp; object oriented programming concepts in Python<\/li>\n<li>Use the modules Numpy, Matplotlib, and Pandas to process data<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Develop programs using variables and data types.<\/li>\n<li>Develop programs using selection control structures<\/li>\n<li>Make use of iterative control structures<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Illustrate string operations in Python<\/li>\n<li>Develop programs using Lists, Tuples, Sets, Dictionaries<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate file operations<\/li>\n<li>Develop programs using functions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Demonstrate Exception handling for real-time applications. (divide by zero error, voter&#8217;s age validity, student mark range validation)<\/li>\n<li>Develop programs using class and objects<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate the concept of constructor<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate the concept of inheritance<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Use NumPy to create arrays<\/li>\n<li>Implement mathematical operations using NumPy arrays<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate matrix operations using NumPy<\/li>\n<li>Develop a python code to read a .csv file using panda module and print the first and last five lines of a file.<\/li>\n<li>Use Matplotlib to plot lines<\/li>\n<li>Use Matplotlib to draw geometric shapes<\/li>\n<li>Open ended experiments<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Suggested Open-Ended Experiments<\/h4>\n<p>(Not for End Semester Examination but compulsory to be included in Continuous Internal Evaluation. Students can do open-ended experiments as a group of 2-3.
