The detailed syllabus of data structures lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p><h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Students will develop skills to efficiently implement linear and nonlinear data structures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p>On completion of the course, the student will be able to:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Demonstrate the concept of Pointers, Files and Structures in C<\/li>\n<li>Make use of linear data structures to solve the problems<\/li>\n<li>Implement searching and sorting algorithms<\/li>\n<li>Make use of non linear data structures to solve the problems<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 1:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Implement C programs to demonstrate Pointers.<\/li>\n<li>Develop C programs to demonstrate the concept of Structures.<\/li>\n<li>Develop C programs to demonstrate the concept of Files.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate Array based sequences &amp; operations<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 2:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Implement Stack using Array<\/li>\n<li>Implement Queue using Array<\/li>\n<li>Develop C program for Infix to Postfix conversion<\/li>\n<li>Implement Linked List operations &#8211; insertion, deletion, searching, etc. in C<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 3:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Implement Linear Search and Binary Search<\/li>\n<li>Implement Bubble Sort<\/li>\n<li>Implement Insertion sort<\/li>\n<li>Implement Quick sort<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Module 4:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Develop a program to create a Binary Search Tree<\/li>\n<li>Develop programs to perform the various traversals in a Binary Search Tree.<\/li>\n<li>Develop program to implement graph<\/li>\n<li>Implement the Depth first search Traversal \/ Breadth first search Traversal of graph<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Suggested Open Ended Experiments<\/h4>\n<p>(Not for End Semester Examination but compulsory to be included in Continuous Internal Evaluation. Students can do open ended experiments as a group of 2-3.
