Material Testing Lab<\/title><\/p>\n<h4>Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n Student Will Be Able To<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Carryout test on UTM<\/li>\n<li>Conduct Impact test.<\/li>\n<li>Carryout torsion test<\/li>\n<li>Perform Spring test<\/li>\n<li>Comprehend the test on welded joint.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the test on brittle material.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>SPECIFIC OUTCOME<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n MODULE I<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Study UTM & and its various uses.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct Tension test on M.S. bar:<\/li>\n<li>Compute the values yield point stress, ultimate stress, percentage elongation, and percentage reduction in cross sectional area. Young’s modulus,<\/li>\n<li>Study the behavior by plotting various graphs. Drawing stress strain graph.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p> MODULE II<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Study of Impact Testing Machine.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct Impact test: To find out impact values (Izod) of M.S bar specimen. Compute the values.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct Charpy test of MS bar specimen.
