Course Outcomes:<\/h4>\n

On completion of the course, Student will be able to:<\/p>\n

  1. Understand mounting, balancing and dressing of grinding wheel on a grinding machine.<\/li>\n
  2. Produce flat surface using surface grinder.<\/li>\n
  3. Perform operations on a cylindrical grinding machine to produce internal and external surfaces.<\/li>\n
  4. Perform the finishing operations on the punch holding plate, punch and die plate by using files.<\/li>\n
  5. Grinding \/Sharpening cutting tools such as single point tools, drill bits, milling cutters etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Practice on Surface grinding machine\n
        \n
      1. Mounting, balancing and dressing of grinding wheels<\/li>\n
      2. Grinding flat surface on a surface grinder<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Practice on Cylindrical Grinding Machine (Cylindrical Grinding of internal and external surfaces)<\/li>\n
      4. Bench Work\n

        1. Filing of punch holding plate, punches, Die plate and assembly<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
        2. Practice on Tool and cutter Grinder<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
