The detailed syllabus of electrical measurements lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p>  <title>Electrical Measurements Lab<\/title><\/p>\n<h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<ol>\n<li>To understand various types of electrical measuring instruments.<\/li>\n<li>To know the measuring procedure and compute the result.<\/li>\n<li>To know the verification of laws.<\/li>\n<li>To understand different methods of resistance measurements.<\/li>\n<li>To understand various methods of power measurements in single phase and three phase.<\/li>\n<li>To understand the methods of calibrating wattmeter and energy meter.<\/li>\n<li>To understand the procedure for identifying the winding terminals (transformer, alternator, Induction motors).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>LIST OF EXPERIMENTS<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<ol>\n<li>To draw front panel of the following measuring instruments and document meter details.\n<ol type=\"i\">\n<li>MI type voltmeter and Ammeter.<\/li>\n<li>MC type voltmeter and Ammeter.<\/li>\n<li>Wattmeter -LPF<\/li>\n<li>Wattmeter -UPF<\/li>\n<li>Energy meter (Both electro-mechanical and Static)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>To measure resistance of tungsten filament lamp by Voltmeter-Ammeter method to find hot and cold resistance from the VI graph.<\/li>\n<li>To verify Kirchhoff&#8217;s laws.<\/li>\n<li>To verify superposition theorem.<\/li>\n<li>To measure the Impedance and resistance of a coil and compute Inductance, inductive reactance.
