Supply Chain & Logistics Management Lab<\/title><\/p>\n<h4>OBJECTIVES:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n As part of the study, students should undertake a practical training in a supply chain\/logistics organisation so as to get practical knowledge in the area.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>To expose students to logistics\/supply chain management organisations, experience, knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>To apply the management theories taught in the lecture rooms in real logistics organisation.<\/li>\n<li>To get exposed to environment of supply and logistics management work.<\/li>\n<li>To improve students practical skill in the field.<\/li>\n<li>To increase the students job prospect.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>ACTIVITY:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n One faculty from each branch can be appointed as advisor for this practical training on logistics management. The advisor can identify appropriate organisation \/ firm and coordinate the programme. The students may be divided into appropriate groups for doing the programme.\n<\/p>\n<h4>REPORT:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n At the end of the training, reports shall be prepared and submitted by each group.
