principles and procedures of profile levelling<\/li>\n<li>Carry out longitudinal section and cross section of the site<\/li>\n<li>Prepare the longitudinal section and cross section<\/li>\n<li>Select the appropriate formation level on the longitudinal section<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Perform contouring\n<ol type=\"i\">\n<li>Explain the principles and methods of contouring<\/li>\n<li>Take spot levels for preparing contour map<\/li>\n<li>Select suitable contour interval<\/li>\n<li>Locate the contour points on the drawing sheet and draw the contour lines<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Conduct theodolite survey\n<ol type=\"i\">\n<li>Identify the parts of theodolite and carryout temporary adjustments<\/li>\n<li>Measure horizontal angles by general methods, repetition method and reiteration method<\/li>\n<li>Record the observation in the field book<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Determine the height and distances using theodolite\n<ol type=\"i\">\n<li>Measure vertical angles<\/li>\n<li>Determine the elevations and distance between objects<\/li>\n<li>Find the horizontal distance between two objects by taking theodolite observations from one station and also from stations at the ends of a known base line.<\/li>\n<li>Find the horizontal distance, level difference and gradient of the line joining two objects by taking observations from the ends of a base line.<\/li>\n<li>Find the height and elevation of a tall object whose base is accessible, and inaccessible<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Perform theodolite traversing\n<ol type=\"i\">\n<li>Conduct the traversing by the method of included angle.<\/li>\n<li>Compute the included angle and bearing of the lines.<\/li>\n<li>Measure the length of sides of a traverse.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate latitude and departure of the sides<\/li>\n<li>Apply the corrections to the traverse by appropriate method and find independent Co -ordinates<\/li>\n<li>Prepare the Gale’s traverse table<\/li>\n<li>Plot the
