The detailed syllabus of diesel engine service lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p>  <title>Diesel Engine Service Lab<\/title><\/p>\n<h4>GENERAL COURSE OUTCOME<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<ol>\n<li>Understood dismantling and assembling procedure of engines.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse the need of engine reconditionaly<\/li>\n<li>Compact dismantling and assembling<\/li>\n<li>Carryout t dismantling and assembling of coolant pump, oil pump, air cleaner, and oil coder<\/li>\n<li>Check defects in engine components.<\/li>\n<li>Understand the various components in diesel fuel system<\/li>\n<li>Dismantle and assemble distributor type and inline type fuel pump.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>SPECIFIC COURSE OUTCOME<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n  MODULE I<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Inspect various engine components and perform engine reconditioning<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>  MODULE II<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Remove and refit the coolant pump from the Engine\n<ol type=\"i\">\n<li>Dismantle and assemble oil pump Remove and refit oil bath type air cleaner<\/li>\n<li>Remove and refit oil-cooler<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>  MODULE III<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Carryout the Bleeding of diesel fuel system\n<ol type=\"i\">\n<li>Carryout the servicing of nozzles<\/li>\n<li>Dismantling &amp; assembling of fuel fead pumb<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>  MODULE IV<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Dismantle, clean and assemble distributor type &amp; in line type fuel pump\n<ol type=\"i\">\n<li>Troubleshoot diesel engines<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>MODULE I<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<ol>\n<li>Removal , inspection and refitting of the cylinder head.<\/li>\n<li>Dismantle, inspect and assemble the valve assembly.<\/li>\n<li>Removal of piston, connecting rod and crankshaft.<\/li>\n<li>Valve tappet clearance adjustment.<\/li>\n<li>Inspection of cylinder bore (Ovality and taperness)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>MODULE II<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<ol>\n<li>Reconditioning of cooling system components.<\/li>\n<li>Dismantling and assembling the oil pump.<\/li>\n<li>Removal and refitting of oil bath type air cleaner.<\/li>\n<li>Removal and refitting of the oil filter.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>MODULE III<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<ol>\n<li>Dismantling and assembling of the F.I .pump.<\/li>\n<li>Dismantling and assembling of the fuel feed pump.<\/li>\n<li>Dismantling and assembling of the fuel injector.
