The detailed syllabus of advanced computer application &#8211; lab is as follows. <\/p>\n<p>  <title>Advanced Computer Application &#8211; Lab<\/title><\/p>\n<h4>Course Objectives:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n<ol>\n<li>Develop 3D views from 2D drawings<\/li>\n<li>Apply materials to the prepared views<\/li>\n<li>View the drawing in different angles<\/li>\n<li>Take print outs using printers and plotters in different scales.<\/li>\n<li>Import drawings from ACAD to 3D STUDIO and apply materials , background, lighting.<\/li>\n<li>Locate camera positions and make walk throughs.<\/li>\n<li>Use MS PROJECT<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Course Distribution:<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n  Upon completing the course the student should be able to: MODULE I&#8211; 3D STUDIO MAX<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Familiarize with software interface\n<ol type=\"i\">\n<li>Set up units<\/li>\n<li>Use main tool bar<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>  MODULE II &#8212; MODIFYING AND EDITING COMMANDS IN 3DSMAX<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Familiarize with modifiers<\/li>\n<li>Know the concept of 2D shapes<\/li>\n<li>Modify solids and 2D shapes<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>  MODULE III &#8212; MAPPING, RENDERING, LIGHTS AND CAMERA<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Familiarize mapping and material application<\/li>\n<li>Know importing and exporting 3D files<\/li>\n<li>Render views<\/li>\n<li>Use lights, cameras and walk through<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>  MODULE IV&#8211; MS PROJECT<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Familiarize with Scheduling<\/li>\n<li>Familiarize with Task linkage<\/li>\n<li>Know Time estimate<\/li>\n<li>Know Critical path<\/li>\n<li>Familiarize with Resource management<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>MODULE I&#8211;INTRODUCTION TO 3DS MAX<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n  Uses In Various Engineering Sectors-Features In The Software Interface-Four Ports And Configuration -Unit Setup,-Application Of Objects Like Standard Primitive, Extended Primitives -Application Of Tools In Main Tool Bar-Link, Unlink, Selection Tools, Operating Tools, Mirror &amp; Snaps -Software InterfaceNavigation Panel. Tab Panel, Media Panel, Grid and Snap Set Up-Panel &#8211; Create, Modify, Hierarchy, Object Categories. Tools- Array , Mirror, Move, Copy, Rotate, Scale etc-Exercise- Table, chair, hut, simple compound wall etc.\n<\/p>\n<h4>MODULE II &#8212; MODIFYING AND EDITING COMMANDS IN 3DSMAX<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\">\n  Modifier(Bend ,Edit poly &amp; mesh, Taper , Twist , Shell , Slice , Wave , Noise , Extrude, Lathe , Loft, Boolean Etc)-Concepts of 2d Shapes -Spline (Circle , Ellipse , Helix , Text , Stares) And Default Shapes ,Brief Visualization On Arc , Rec , Ngon , -Modifying Parameters of Line -.
