SPECIFIC OUTCOMES:
To Understand Fundamentals of Web Application development with database
- Familiarisation with an IDE (such as Eclipse/NetBeans etc)
- Use of HTML5 form elements such as buttons, text filed, text area, check box, radio buttons, lists, scroll bar, list box, combo box etc
- Explain Concept of Event Handling, session etc
- Develop simple programs using the above controls. To explore the features of Advanced Web Application development with database
- Develop menu driven programs – menus, menu bar, menu items etc
- Implement Dialog boxes in programs [Note: At the end this module, students shall design and develop the user interfaces, menus for their application] To Implement Database Connectivity
- Implement database integration in applications -store, retrieve, modify databases from applications.
- Implementation of database operations with necessary programming structures [Note: At the end this module, students shall design the database for their application and incorporate necessary database operations] To Generate Reports
- Implementation of general application features such as search, reports, backup etc
- Create report
- Converting reports to other format such as PDF
- Implement backup & restore facility [Note: At the end this module, students shall develop a complete web based database application.]
