- Perform various imposition schemes and use imposition software used in printing.
- Demonstrate the importance of Dummy Preparations.
- Illustrate the importance of layout and its method of preparation.
- Perform proof reading process and different types of Poofs.
Module 1:
- Setting of an imposition scheme for 4, 8, 16 page full sheet work using PageMaker DTP package.
- Setting of an imposition scheme for 4, 8, 16 page Half sheet work using PageMaker DTP package.

- Create and analyze the page layouts of variety of products by using Adobe indesign.
- Preparation of visiting card, letterhead and classified advertisements using PageMaker DTP package.
- Type setting of text matter for bookwork and newspaper using suitable DTP package such as PageMaker and/or Quark press.
Module 4:
- To familiarize with various types of proofs and proof-reading marks.
- To take the Digital Proofs by using digital Printing machines.
- Perform proofreading.
