Course Outcomes:
ON THE COMPLETION OF THE STUDY OF THIS MODULE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE :
- To comprehend plate preparation with CTP technology.
- To demonstrate preparation of PS plate by the help of exposing machine and developing machine.
- To analyze the effect of imposition scheme and sheet reversal methods on the arrangement of pages in the layout.
- To demonstrate stencil preparation for screen printing by direct and indirect method.
- To analyze the quality of the prepared master.
PRACTICAL EXPERIMENTS:
- Familiarization of sheet work imposition, work and turn and work and tumble/back.
- Familiarization of half sheet work imposition with work and turn and work and tumble.
- Preparation of master for sheet-fed offset according to machine specifications.
- Preparation of master/stencil for screen printing by direct method.
- Preparation of master/stencil for screen printing by indirect method.(using five star film)
- Analyze the plate preparation on CTP machine.
NOTES
- Students should be well familiar with sheet turning methods and imposition.
- The student should include the defects, if any in the masters they have prepared and should mention solution for the same in the record(Fair and rough)
