Course Outcomes:

On completion of the course, the student will be able to:

  1. Draw and describe architecture of 8051
  2. Explain the timers, interrupts, stack, serial data communication and power saving modes of 8051
  3. Write assembly language program for microcontrollers
  4. Interface peripheral devices to the micro controllers.

Module 1:

Features of 8051- pin details of 8051-dual function of port3 pins- block diagram of micro controller 8051- internal ram organization – special function registers – PSW register T MOD-T CON-S CON-IE-IP-PROGRAM COUNTER-DATA POINTER-STACK POINTER – P CON – S BUFF-
