Course Objectives:

• To provide hands-on experience for the students with the basic concepts in web design.
• To develop web pages/applications using HTML, HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript.

Course Outcomes:

On completion of the course student will be able to:

1. Construct web pages using HTML
2. Construct web pages using HTML5 and CSS3
3. Develop JavaScript applications.
4. Develop JavaScript applications with JSON and XML

Module 1:

1. Develop a web page to display Bio-Data using Basic Tags.
2. Develop a web page to display Grade Card using Table.
3. Develop a web page to display Resume of a student with photograph and academic details (use images, tables, hyperlinks).
4. Develop a Web page to display User Registration Form (Use forms, text box, radio button, text area, check boxes and buttons).

Module 2:

1. Develop a web page to embed Audio and Video.
2. Develop a web page to draw basic shapes using Scalable Vector Graphics.
3. Develop a web page for your college to display basic details (using header, footer, div, section, article, figure, figcaption).
4. Apply CSS styles to the contents in the above web page(II.3)

Module 3:

1. Develop a JavaScript program to create a simple calculator
2. Develop a JavaScript application to create an array and print the data into an unordered list.
3. Develop a JavaScript application to validate a login form
4. Develop a JavaScript application to bind on-click event function to all paragraphs inside a webpage such that when user clicks on a paragraph, its background colour should change to red and colour to white.

Module 4:

1. Develop a JavaScript program to create a JSON variable like a two-dimensional array that contains India’s states and districts and print then as an ordered list.
2. Develop a JavaScript program to create an XML text like a two-dimensional array that contains India’s states and districts and print them as an ordered list.
