Course Objectives:

  • To gain knowledge in applying the different marketing concepts.
  • To understand how to create & develop products, their life cycles, labeling, packaging and the functioning of distribution channels

Course Outcomes:

On completion of the course, students will be able to:

  1. Apply Product Mix strategies
  2. Use Labeling & Packaging methods
  3. Apply Product Life cycle to a sample product
  4. Demonstrate the functioning of Distribution channels.

Module 1:

  1. Using a product, demonstrate its product mix elements
  2. Prepare a presentation on product mix with examples

Module 2:

  1. Collect examples of labels according to types of labeling
  2. Demonstrate the different types of Packaging for different kinds of products.

Module 3:

  1. Present a case study on the life cycle of an Indian Product, explaining various stages.

Module 4:

  1. Demonstrate levels of channels with examples
  2. Present a case study on the promotion mix of a reputed brand.
