Course Outcomes:

On completion of this course the student will be able to

  1. To tdetermine the unknown resistance using Wheatstone’s bridge.
  2. To determine the unknown Inductance using Hays bridge.
  3. To determine the unknown Capacitance using Schering Bridge.
  4. To measure the unknown frequency by using known frequency by Lissajeous pattern method.
  5. To measure phase difference of given waveforms using CRO.
  6. To determine the dynamic characteristic of different types of thermometers.
  7. To plot the characteristics of LDR.
  8. To plot the characteristics of photo electric transducers.
  9. To plot the characteristics of LVDT.
  10. To plot the Characteristics of strain gauge.
  11. To plot the characteristics of capacitive transducer .
  12. To plot the characteristics of Piezo electric transducer.
  13. To plot the characteristics of IC temperature sensor (AD 590).
  14. To study Potentiometric type Recorder.
  15. To study Strip Chart Recorder.
  16. To study Circular Chart Recorder.
  17. To calibrate ammeter using slide wire potentiometer.
  18. To calibrate voltmeter using slide wire potentiometer.
  19. To calibrate wattmeter by direct loading.
  20. To calibrate energy meter by direct loading at unity power factor .
  21. To Calibrate energy meter by phantom loading at
    1. unity pf
    2. 0.866 pf
    3. 0.5 pf
