Course Objectives:

1. Identify tools required for model making
2. Select materials suitable for making models of buildings and site
3. Demonstrate planning principles with the use of different forms
4. Make building models in different mediums
5. Apply finishes to create desired textures on the prepared models
6. List tools and materials required for constructing masonry walls.
7. Construct corner walls in English and Flemish bond.
8. Construct isolated piers in English and Flemish bond.

After completion of course student should be able to: Module I: Model making tools and materials

1. Identify tools required for model making
2. Select appropriate materials required for model making

Module II: Model Making

1. Make models of basic geometric forms like cube, prism, pyramid, cylinder, cone and sphere
2. Make building models of single room structures.

Module III: Brick Masonry

1. List tools and materials required to construct brick masonry walls.
2. Construct corner walls of English bond and Flemish bond.
3. Construct isolated piers of English bond and Flemish bond.
