Course Outcomes:

On completion of the course, the student will be able to:

1. Develop plan, elevation and section from line sketch of single roomed buildings having flat roof and sloped roof
2. Summarize data related to spatial and functional planning incorporating building rules and regulations
3. Develop single storied buildings and draw plan, elevation and section. 1
4. Develop presentation drawings of the designed building

Module 1:

1. Prepare plan from a single line sketch of single roomed buildings having flat roof/ sloped roof
2. Develop elevation and section from the prepared plan

Module 3:

1. Summarize data collected and prepare sketch scheme
2. Design single roomed single storied buildings like watch man cabin, book stall, milk booth, flower shop and develop plan, elevation and section.
3. Design single storied buildings like tourist information center, cafeteria, crèche, weekend cottage and develop plan, elevation and section.
4. Design single storied residential building and develop plan, elevation and section.

Module 4:

1. Practice rendering techniques for plan, elevation and section in presentation drawings
2. Develop presentation drawings of the designed residential building-medium
