Module I: Data collection and analysis.

Importance of architectural Drawing, design methodology – bubble diagram, activity relationship chart ; collection of design data from Time Saver Standards; Case studies of existing buildings- residential spaces – single room shops- Flower shop – Milk booth – Book stall – Bus shelter – Watch man’s cabin -Tourist information centre, Weekend cottage – Presentation of collected data. -Analyse the data and prepare a design brief.

Module III: Preparation of two dimensional drawings.

Design of single storied structures.-Tourist information centre, Weekend cottage, Two bed room residence- Two dimensional drawings of single storied buildings—_ Plan, elevation and section fully dimensioned and annotated with specifications. Render the plan and elevation using pencil and colour.
