- Demonstrate the handling of tools and familiarize the wood working machines
- Construct wooden joints
- Demonstrate machines with basic operations and their practice

- Introduction of machine safety &floor safety precautions
- Introduction of machine tools portable tools
- Study of carpentry tools, carving tools &lathe tools
