Design with the Unified Process by Satzinger, Jackson &amp; Burd Cengage Learning )<\/li>\n<li>Point-Of-Sale Terminal (in Larman textbook)<\/li>\n<li>Library Management System (in the reference book no. 2 i.e. UML toolkit)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Week 1<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarization with Rational Rose or Umbrello<\/li>\n<li>For each case study:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Week 2, 3 &amp; 4:<\/strong><br \/>\nFor each case study:<br \/>\na) Identify and analyze events<br \/>\nb) Identify Use cases<br \/>\nc) Develop event table<br \/>\nd) Identify &amp; analyze domain classes<br \/>\ne) Represent use cases and a domain class diagram using Rational Rose<br \/>\nf) Develop CRUD matrix to represent relationships between use cases and problem domain classes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Week 5 &amp; 6:<\/strong><br \/>\nFor each case study:<br \/>\na) Develop Use case diagrams<br \/>\nb) Develop elaborate Use case descriptions &amp; scenarios<br \/>\nc) Develop prototypes (without functionality)<br \/>\nd) Develop system sequence diagrams<\/p>\n<p><strong>Week 7, 8, 9 &amp; 10:<\/strong><br \/>\nFor each case study:<br \/>\na) Develop high-level sequence diagrams for each use case<br \/>\nb) Identify MVC classes \/ objects for each use case<br \/>\nc) Develop Detailed Sequence Diagrams \/ Communication diagrams for each use case showing interactions among all<br \/>\nthe three-layer objects<br \/>\nd) Develop detailed design class model (use GRASP patterns for responsibility assignment)<br \/>\ne) Develop three-layer package diagrams for each case study<\/p>\n<p><strong>Week 11 &amp; 12:<\/strong><br \/>\nFor each case study:<br \/>\na) Develop Use case Packages<br \/>\nb) Develop component diagrams<br \/>\nc) Identify relationships between use cases and represent them<br \/>\nd) Refine domain class model by showing all the associations among classes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Week 13 onwards:<\/strong><br \/>\nFor each case study:<br \/>\na) Develop sample diagrams for other UML diagrams &#8211;
