This gives the details about credits, number of hours and other details along with reference books for the course.<\/p>\n<p>The detailed syllabus for Advanced Concrete Technology M.Tech 2017-2018 (R17) first year first sem is as follows.<\/p>\n<p>M.Tech. I Year I Sem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course Objectives:<\/strong><br \/>\nThis course will provide the students with state-of-the art knowledge on durable and sustainable cement and concrete, on the various mineral additions and chemical admixtures to enhance the workability, strength, durability and sustainability of concrete, and will empower them in the decision making process regarding the various concrete products, construction procedures and performance test methods that will improve the durability and sustainability of concrete civil infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>This course will empower students to become technical leaders in the concrete .The materials science aspects of concrete production will be explored in the context of various performance criteria with emphasis on durability and sustainability. The process of material selection, proportioning, mixing, transporting, placing and curing concrete will be the main focus, augmented with technology of admixtures use; green cements and concrete products. This comprehensive course is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals of concrete.
