  4. Bending tests- deflection of slender and short beams for various loading and end\u00a0conditions determination of influence coefficients- verification of Maxwell’s and\u00a0Castiglione\u2019s theorems.<\/li>\n
  5. Compression tests on long and short columns- determination of buckling loads- South\u00a0well plot.<\/li>\n
  6. Determination of the strength and deformation of riveted and bolted joints.<\/li>\n
  7. Methods of inspection and non-destructive testing (NDT) of aircraft structural\u00a0components.<\/li>\n
  8. Strain gauge techniques- measurement of strain in beams, thin and thick walled\u00a0cylinders<\/li>\n
  9. Subjected to internal pressure, shaft subjected to combined loading.<\/li>\n
  10. Shear Centers of open and closed sections- determination of the elastic axis of beams.<\/li>\n
  11. Post buckling behaviour of shear panels- measurements on semi-tension field webs of\u00a0beams.<\/li>\n
