III Year II Sem. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0L\/T\/P\/C<br \/>\nCourse Code:EE604PC \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 0\/0\/3\/2<br \/>\nPrerequisite: Power Systems &amp; Electrical Machines<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>perform testing of CT, PT&#8217;s and Insulator strings<\/li>\n<li>To find sequence impedances of 3-\u03a6 synchronous machine and Transformer<\/li>\n<li>To perform fault analysis on Transmission line models and Generators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Course Outcomes:<\/strong> After completion of this lab, the student will be able to<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform various load flow techniques<\/li>\n<li>Understand Different protection methods<\/li>\n<li>Analyze the experimental data and draw the conclusions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The following experiments are required to be conducted as compulsory experiments:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Part &#8211; A<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Characteristics of IDMT Over Current Relay.<\/li>\n<li>Differential protection of 1-\u03a6 transformer.<\/li>\n<li>Characteristics of Micro Processor based Over Voltage\/Under Voltage relay.<\/li>\n<li>Testing of CT, PT\u2019s and Insulator strings.<\/li>\n<li>Finding the sequence impedances of 3-\u03a6 synchronous machine.<\/li>\n<li>Finding the sequence impedances of 3-\u03a6 Transformer.<br \/>\nIn addition to the above six experiments, at least any four of the experiments from the\u00a0following list are required to be conducted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>Part &#8211; B<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Formation of YBUS.<\/li>\n<li>Load Flow Analysis using Gauss Seidal (GS) Method.<\/li>\n<li>Load Flow Analysis using Fast Decoupled (FD) Method.<\/li>\n<li>Formation of ZBUS.<\/li>\n<li>LG, LL and 3-\u03a6 fault analysis of 3-\u03a6 synchronous machine.<\/li>\n<li>Power circle diagrams of a 3-\u03a6 transmission line model.<\/li>\n<li>ABCD constants and Regulation of a 3-\u03a6 transmission line model.<\/li>\n<li>Transient Stability Analysis for Single Machine connected to Infinite Bus by Point by\u00a0Point method.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=ini.istudy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Download iStudy Android App for complete JNTUH syllabus, results, timetables and all other updates.
