III Year I Sem. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0L\/T\/P\/C<br \/>\nCourse Code:EE505PC \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 0\/0\/3\/2<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To calibrate LPF Watt Meter, energy meter, P. F Meter using electro dynamo meter\u00a0type instrument as the standard instrument<\/li>\n<li>To determine unknown inductance, resistance, capacitance by performing\u00a0experiments on D.C Bridges &amp; A. C Bridges<\/li>\n<li>To determine three phase active &amp; reactive powers using single wattmeter method\u00a0practically<\/li>\n<li>To determine the ratio and phase angle errors of current transformer and potential\u00a0transformer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Course Outcomes<\/strong>: After completion of this lab the student is able to<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to choose instruments<\/li>\n<li>test any instrument<\/li>\n<li>find the accuracy of any instrument by performing experiment<\/li>\n<li>calibrate PMMC instrument using D.C potentiometer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The following experiments are required to be conducted as compulsory experiments<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Calibration and Testing of single phase energy Meter.<\/li>\n<li>Calibration of dynamometer power factor meter.<\/li>\n<li>Crompton D.C. Potentiometer \u2013 Calibration of PMMC ammeter and PMMC\u00a0voltmeter.<\/li>\n<li>Kelvin\u2019s double Bridge \u2013 Measurement of resistance \u2013 Determination of Tolerance.<\/li>\n<li>Dielectric oil testing using H.T. testing Kit.<\/li>\n<li>Schering bridge &amp; Anderson bridge.<\/li>\n<li>Measurement of 3 &#8211; Phase reactive power with single-phase wattmeter.<\/li>\n<li>Measurement of displacement with the help of LVDT.<br \/>\nIn addition to the above eight experiments, at least any two of the experiments from the\u00a0following list are required to be conducted<\/li>\n<li>Calibration LPF wattmeter \u2013 by Phantom testing.<\/li>\n<li>Measurement of 3-phase power with single watt meter and two CTs.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=ini.istudy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Download iStudy Android App for complete JNTUH syllabus, results, timetables and all other updates.
