II Year II Sem. \u00a0 \u00a0L\/T\/P\/C<br \/>\nCourse Code: CS406ES \u00a0 0\/0\/3\/2<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exercises in Digital Logic Design:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement Logic gates using NAND and NOR gates<\/li>\n<li>Design a Full adder using gates<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement the 4:1 MUX, 8:1 MUX using gates \/ICs.<\/li>\n<li>Design and Implement a 3 to 8 decoder using gates<\/li>\n<li>Design a 4 bit comparator using gates\/IC<\/li>\n<li>Design and Implement a 4 bit shift register using Flip flops<\/li>\n<li>Design and Implement a Decade counter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Exercises in Micro Processor programming:<\/strong><br \/>\nWrite assembly language programs for the following using GNU Assembler.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Write assembly language programs to evaluate the expressions:<br \/>\ni) a = b + c \u2013 d * e<br \/>\nii) z = x * y + w \u2013 v +u \/ k<br \/>\na. Considering 8-bit, 16 bit and 32 bit binary numbers as b, c, d, e.<br \/>\nb. Considering 2 digit, 4 digit and 8 digit BCD numbers.<br \/>\nTake the input in consecutive memory locations and also Display the results by using<br \/>\n\u201cint xx\u201d of 8086.
