Course Objective:<\/strong> This Laboratory course is designed to make the student to understand and\u00a0demonstrate the process variables in mineral processing techniques employed. The mineral\u00a0characteristics like size and size distribution etc. also evaluated.<\/p>\n

Course Outcome:<\/strong> The student would gain hands on experience about different ore\u00a0characteristics and various industrial mineral processing operations for beneficiation.<\/p>\n

  2. Sizing by Sieve analysis of crushed ore.<\/li>\n
  3. Verification of Stoke’s Law.<\/li>\n
  4. Determining the reduction ratio of a jaw crusher.<\/li>\n
  5. Study of the variation of reduction ratio with process variables in Rolls crusher.<\/li>\n
  6. Study of the process variables on reduction ratio and particle size distribution in ball\u00a0mill.<\/li>\n
  7. To find the grindability index of ores.<\/li>\n
  8. Verification of Laws of Communition.(Study)<\/li>\n
  9. Determination of the efficiency of a magnetic separator.<\/li>\n
  10. Determination of the efficiency of a jig. (Study)<\/li>\n
  11. Study of the particle separation by fluid flow using wilfley table.<\/li>\n
  12. To study the concentration of metallic and non-metallic ores by Froth-Flotation\u00a0process.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
