This gives the details about credits, number of hours and other details along with reference books for the course.\r\n\r\nThe detailed syllabus for Pharmacotherapeutics-I Lab M.Pharm 2017-2018 (R17) first year first sem is as follows.\r\n\r\nM.Pharm. I Year I Sem.\r\n\r\nThe students are required to be posted to various clinical wards for their exposure with therapeutic\r\nmanagement and other clinical aspects. They are expected to have experience and do a tutorial as\r\nwell as case presentation in the following clinical conditions. The students have to make at least 10\r\ncase presentations covering most common diseases found in the hospital to which the college is\r\nattached. The student should also submit a record of the cases presented. The list of clinical cases\r\npresented should include follow-up of the clinical cases mentioned below from the day of admission\r\ntill discharge and presented in the SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment and Plan) format.\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>The cases may be selected from the following Wards:<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ol>\r\n \t<li>\u00a0Gastroenterology<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Cardiology<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Pulmonology<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Orthopedics<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Endocrinology<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Dermatology<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Rational use of medicines in special population admitted in above wards (three)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Calculation of Bioavailability and Bioequivalence from the given data (two)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Interpretation of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring reports of a given patient of any of the above wards (three)<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Calculation of various Pharmacoeconomic outcome analysis for the given data from the above (two)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>Assignments<\/strong>\r\nThe students are required to submit a minimum of three written assignments (1500 to 2000 words) selected from the topics on different disease conditions given to them.
