JNTUH B.Tech 3rd year (3-1) Electrical Machines Lab – II gives you detail information of Electrical Machines Lab – II R13 syllabus It will be help full to understand you complete curriculum of the year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The following experiments are required to be conducted as compulsory experiments.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. O.C. & S.C. Tests on Single phase Transformer<\/li>\n
  2. Sumpner\u2019s test on a pair of single phase transformers<\/li>\n
  3. Break test on three-phase Induction Motor.<\/li>\n
  4. No-load & Blocked rotor tests on three – phase Induction motor<\/li>\n
  5. Regulation of a three – phase alternator by synchronous impedance & m.m.f. methods<\/li>\n
  6. V<\/strong> and Inverted V<\/strong> curves of a three – phase synchronous motor.<\/li>\n
  7. Equivalent Circuit of a single phase induction motor<\/li>\n
  8. Determination of Xd <\/strong>and Xq <\/strong>of a salient pole synchronous machine<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In addition to the above eight experiments, atleast any two of the following experiments are\u00a0required to be conducted from the following list.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Parallel operation of Single phase Transformers<\/li>\n
    2. Separation of core losses of a single phase transformer<\/li>\n
    3. Scott connection of transformers<\/li>\n
    4. Regulation of three-phase alternator by Z.P.F. and A.S.A methods<\/li>\n
    5. Efficiency of a three-phase alternator<\/li>\n
    6. Heat run test on a bank of 3 Nos. of single phase Delta connected transformers<\/li>\n
    7. Measurement of sequence impedance of a three-phase alternator.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
