I Year II Sem.\r\n\r\n<strong>Course Objective:\u00a0<\/strong>The course covers the various energy forms, alternate and renewable energy system using nanotechnology.\r\n\r\n<strong>Course Outcomes:<\/strong>\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>To cover various renewable energy technologies.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>To study hydrogen production and storage techniques<\/li>\r\n \t<li>To study solar energy generation and enhancement of conversation efficiency microfluidics and fuel cell technology will be covered.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<strong>UNIT\u2013 I :<\/strong> Battery materials and batteries: Lithium Ion based batteries.\r\n\r\n<strong>UNIT\u2013 II :<\/strong> Renewable energy Technology: Energy challenges, nanomaterials and nanostructures in energy harvesting, developments and implementation of nanotechnology based renewable energy technologies,\r\n\r\n<strong>UNIT\u2013 III :<\/strong> Solar cell structures: quantum well and quantum dot solar cells, photo- thermal cells for solar energy harvesting, Thin film solar cells, CIGS solar cells, Dye sensitized solar cells.\r\n\r\n<strong>UNIT\u2013 IV :<\/strong> Hydrogen storage Technology: Hydrogen production methods, purification, hydrogen storage methods.
