Course Objectives:

The main objectives of the course are

  • To introduce the basic building blocks of linear integrated circuits.
  • To introduce the theory and applications of analog multipliers and PLL.
  • To introduce the concepts of waveform generation and introduce some special function ICs.

Course Outcomes:

Upon completing this course, the student will be able to

  • A thorough understanding of operational amplifiers with linear integrated circuits.
  • Attain the knowledge of functional diagrams and applications of IC 555 and IC 565
  • Acquire the knowledge about the Data converters.
