1. Basic parts and functions on Ring frame Periods 12 : (L:9, T:3)

3. Rotor spinning Periods 9 : (L:7, T:2)

  3. Prepare a chart showing important spare parts of Ring frame and state their function.(PO4)
  4. Collect brochures of different spare parts of ring frame and submit a report on name of the companies, varieties supplied by them. (PO2,PO4)
  5. Prepare a chart showing different methods of spinning and the principles of yarn manufacture. (PO2)
  6. Collect different types of yarn packages and also prepare a chart showing different yarn packages by simple drawings using sketches. .(PO2,PO8)
  7. Collect paper tubes used in winding and submit a report on their dimensions, strengths and suppliers, cost etc.,(PO2)
  8. Visit a spinning mill and study the end breakage rate and submit a report stating the causes of end breakages as per your observations and analysis. (PO3,PO10)
  9. Visit a spinning mill and submit a report on transport of material and waste management at different levels.(PO2,PO4,PO7)
  10. Visit a spinning mill and submit a report on automations in different departments. .(PO10)
