Introduction, Stress relieving, Annealing -Full annealing, Isothermal annealing, Diffusion annealing, Partial annealing, Recrystallization annealing, Process annealing, Spherodizing; Normalizing -process, Normalizing versus annealing; Hardening -process ,Factors affecting hardening process, Hardening methods, Removal of heat during quenching ; Tempering -process ,Structural changes during tempering, Austempering (in brief), Mar tempering (in brief), Sub-zero treatment

3. PRINCIPLES OF HEAT TREATMENT OF STEELS: Duration: 8 Periods
