Course Outcome:

  1. Explain the different singeing and desizing process.
  2. Explain the scouring process.
  3. Explain the bleaching process.
  4. Analyze the procedures involved in application and after treatment for direct dyes
  5. Choose the correct reactive dyeing procedures and the methods of stripping reactive dye based on the classification properties

Unit 1: Singeing and Desizing:

Unit 6: Azoic Dyes:

pore dye diffusion model and free volume model – principle/concept of azoic dyes – advantages and disadvantages of naphthol dyeing.
