- Explain the various ways of woven design presentation.
- Explain the fabric formation fibre mat, yarn and thread.
- Explain braiding lace and net methods of making fabric.
- Explain basic weaves construction, structure properties, examples and selvedge types.
- Explain complex weaves and fabric defects.
Unit 1: Preparation of Yarn for Weaving and Types of Looms:
Preparation of yarn for weaving- Parts and Functions of loom- Definition of weaving Weaving process – shuttle loom- Shuttle less looms- projectile- rapier, jet weaving -multiphase weaving.

Unit 3: Fabrics Made With Fibre Mats, Yarns and Thread:
