Unit-I: INDIAN CONTRACT ACT, 1872-I Duration: 10 Hr

The Indian Contract Act , 1872: Definition of Contract – essential elements of a valid Contract, performance of Contract and breach of Contract – (1) Agreement and Contract: Definition and meaning of Agreement – Types of Contracts (Express, Implied, Executed, Valid and Void Contracts) – (2) Offer and Acceptance: Definition – Essentials of a valid offer and acceptance – Communication and revocation of offer and acceptance.
