Candidates need to submit an application online with a valid GATE score and category. If you are applying to more than one department then you need to register and apply separately for each department. You should not submit more than one application.

IIT Guwahati M.Tech 2024 Eligibility
- B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc.(Engg.)/M.Sc. in respective or allied area with a valid GATE/UGC/CSIR score
- B.Tech. graduates from IITs with an overall minimum CGPA of 6.5.
- Candidates of General and OBC category must have secured at least 60% marks or CGPA of 6.00 on a 10 point scale at the qualifying degree level, but for SC/ST/PD category candidates, this percentage is 55% or 5.50 CGPA on a 10 point scale.
- The aggregate marks awarded for the qualifying degree will be considered for eligibility.
- Eligibility for a specialization within a Department may depend on the candidate’s choice of test paper in GATE.

- Candidates with valid GATE scores need to apply online only. You should also Register (COAP)-2024 and then enter the COAP-2024 registration number while applying online for IIT Guwahati M.Tech 2024 admission.
- Candidates without valid GATE scores have to apply offline only

- Enter your Mobile Phone Number
- Re-enter Your Mobile Phone Number

- Select the Name of the Academic Programme which you want to opt
- Select Name of Discipline
IIT Guwahati M.Tech 2024 Online Application Fee
At the end of the online application process candidate needs to make payment of the application processing fee online. The applications without successful payment of the application fee shall be rejected.
