Sir,
I had appeared for 1988 GATE and had a very good score. But I had lost the score card and forgotten the roll number. I know the score card is of no use now. But it being a trophy item I would like to get a dupiicate . Can I ever get it?

In reply to piyush. iit madras, iit bombay, iit roorkee, iit hydrabad have kept their criteria 6.0 out of 10. so you can apply in these iits.

I am a Civil Engineer(CE) from Guwahati, Assam.There is no scope of crash course for CE GATE preparation and I have to study from home and do my fulltime Engineering job. I cannot go to other states like Delhi, Kolkata, etc.. for preparation since my family cannot effort me to study there. I am from General Category and I want to apply for PSU in which the marks required for in those units/companies is very high around 80 marks, therefore I want to know that this year GATE 2015 paper will be easy, critical or tough. plz let me know early, exam is very near.

Dude,

6.0 CGPA is more than enough for admission in any IIT.
But IITD, IITK puts weightage for your cgpa as well as gate score.
So getting in IITD and IITK would be difficult.
All other IIT’s just see your gate score.
So prepare well. Good luck
