(single trace &amp; Dual trace) for measuring frequency and amplitude.<\/li>\n<li>Study and use of single channel and dual channel regulated power supply units.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>5.0\tTesting of Electronic Components, Devices and Rectifiers:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Measure the value of resistor using ohmmeter \/ multimeter and compare with the colour code value.<\/li>\n<li>Test and measure the value of capacitor using R.L.C. meter and compare with the marked \/ colour code value.<\/li>\n<li>Test the given loud speaker and measure the voice coil resistance-using multimeter.<\/li>\n<li>Test the working of different types of switches, relays.<\/li>\n<li>Arrange the Public Address system and test the performance.<\/li>\n<li>Identify leads and testing of different diodes (PN Junction Diode, Zener Diode) and transistors using Multimeter.<\/li>\n<li>Study of data manuals\/ application manuals for diodes and transistors.<\/li>\n<li>Draw forward and reverse bias characteristics of semiconductor diode and calculate forward and reverse resistance of diode.<\/li>\n<li>Draw reverse bias characteristics of Zener diode and find out the zener voltage.<\/li>\n<li>Draw input and output characteristics of transistor in CB mode.<\/li>\n<li>Draw input and output characteristics of transistor in CE mode.<\/li>\n<li>Implement Half wave rectifier with and without filter.<\/li>\n<li>Implement Full wave rectifier with and without filter.<\/li>\n<li>Implement Bridge rectifier with and without filter.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><h4>Reference Books:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Electronic Devices and Circuits by David A Bell 4 Edition PHI<\/li>\n<li>Hand soldering and circuit board repair by H.(Ted)Smith, Thomas Delmar.<\/li>\n<li>Electronic instruments and systems &#8211; principles, maintenance and troubleshooting. by R.G.
