1.0. Equipments and Reagents
Functions of scrubbing board, suction washer, dryers, drying racks – functions of dry cleaning pump, types of washing machines, irons, steam air garment finisher and foam finisher – functions of chemical reagents used in laundry – functions of alkaline reagents – ammonia, sodium carbonate(washing soda), sodium tetra borate(borax) – functions of acid reagents – acetic and oxalic acid – cleansing material , petro chemicals – preparation of soap solution and cleansing fluids
