\nDefinition of Process control and Quality control – Need for quality control in textile wet processing – Flow charts indicating Process control and Quality control tests to be carried out in Desizing, Scouring, Bleaching, Souring, Mercerizing, Dyeing, Printing and finishing – Identification and estimation of residual starch – Determination of weight loss during Desizing and ScouringAbsorbency tests by Drop test method and wicks method.\n<\/p>\n

\nThe German Banned – List of Amines and Chemicals – Alternatives – Eco-labelling.-Tolerance limits of chemicals and auxiliaries in the fabrics – Possible sources of contamination of red listed chemicals – ISO 14000 certification.
