Origin, Formation and Evaluation of Crude Oil. Testing of Petroleum Products. Refining of Petroleum – Atmospheric and Vaccum Distillation.\n<\/p>\n

Unit II<\/h4>\n

Cracking, Thermal Cracking, Vis-breaking, Catalytic Cracking (FCC), Hydro Cracking, Coking and Air Blowing of Bitumen.\n<\/p>\n

Unit V<\/h4>\n

Production of Petrochemicals like Dimethyl Terephathalate (DMT), Ethylene Glycol, Synthetic Glycerine, Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB), Acrylonitrile, Methyl Methacrylate (MMA), Vinyl Acetate Monomer, Phthalic Anhydride, Maleic Anhydride, Phenol and Acetone, Methanol, Formaldehyde, Acetaldehyde, Pentaerythritol and Production of Carbon Black.\n<\/p>\n
