On completion of the work shop training the students are expected to have acquired the sufficient knowledge<\/p>\n

  1. In operation, maintenance, repair and refit of Marine machines viz. main engine, auxiliary engines,<\/li>\n
  2. In operation, maintenance, repair and refit of Auxiliaries such as Compressors, Pumps, Steering gear, distillation plant, incinerator sewage treatment plant etc.,<\/li>\n
  3. In using hand tools, electrical and electronic equipment\u2019s,<\/li>\n
  4. In using Measuring and Testing Equipment\u2019s for locating faults, malfunctions<\/li>\n
  5. In repairing faults and malfunctions<\/li>\n
  6. In operation, maintenance, repair and refit of Marine Electrical machines such as Alternators, Generators, Motors, Stabilizers<\/li>\n
  7. Overhauling and maintenance of heat exchangers, oil separators, filters etc.<\/li>\n
  8. Of Firefighting and Lifesaving Methods<\/li>\n
