Softtissue replacements, sutures, surgical tapes, adhesive, Percutaneous and skin implants, maxillofacial augmentation, Vascular grafts, hard tissue replacement Implants, joint replacements, tissue scaffolding and engineering using Nano biomaterials.\n<\/p>\n<p><h4>Unit V<\/h4>\n<p>TESTING OF BIOMATERIALS<br \/>\nBiocompatibility, blood compatibility and tissue compatibility tests, Toxicity tests, sensitization, carcinogenicity, mutagenicity and special tests, Invitro and Invivo testing; Sterilisation of implants and devices: ETO, gamma radiation, autoclaving.
